    Christianity?

There is only One Way to Heaven.

    His name is Jesus.

    Perversion is sin.

    Abortion is evil.

I like that. So, I can preach that Senator Clinton supports evil, and she is wrong?

    I like you after all.

If they're sitting on my pews, they'll HEAR the gospel. They may not listen, but they'll hear it.

They're welcome to sit in on my church. We'll love 'em to death!

The Bible. He is not to preach politics, whether they be conservative or liberal politics. If we stick with Jesus and preach him, we will not be preaching politics.

The problem, of course, is the ministers who worship the GOP or the democrats, instead of God.

For them, it's going to be a hard time, because for them, there is no difference between preaching God and preaching politics.

    Steep learning curve, guys.

I don't preach 'politics'. I preach the Word of God.

And when I preach His Word, I stick closely to His Word . . . that is CONSERVATIVE preaching, and conservative exegetical preaching has been done for centuries.

So . . . we might agree if you believe in preaching the Word of God against the sins of the world.

Well of course, but that is a far cry from preaching politics are some are inclined to do. We preach what the Bible says.

Trying to get out of you that you preach the Word of God against sin was like pullin' a hen's tooth . . .

But, I am glad that is over.

And when he preaches the Bible, he will preach the sanctity of life and our duty to protect it and he will preach the condemnation of sins such as homosexuality.

No politics involved. Just God's Word.

I took it easy, then I took it liberally, and now?

I preach the truth that you and your 'good shepherd' (that is what the kinky demon called himself) are wrong.

Repent from serving the 'good shepherd' kinky . . . and serve the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

What are you talking about? I have been crystal clear that I preach the Word of God about sin. So far as I know, there has never been any question of that. To preach the word of God is to preach against sin. You can't preach the Word of God without preachign against sin. You can preach the Word of God without preaching about politics. And you must if you are to be faithful to Scripture.

Why would you have doubted that I preach the word against sin?

Some people want to preach the right thing, just as long as it's not the left thing.

What on earth are you talking about? Do you actually get in the stand and preach that I'm wrong? Don't you think there are better things to preach on than me? What am I wrong about? Because I voted for Kinky means I should repent? I didn't know the Bible called for us to repent after voting.

If a minister is preaching the whole counsel of God, then the congregants will know right from wrong without having to tell them which political party to vote for.

Politics has no place in the church, and especially in the pulpit.

Preach Christ and Him crucified. Preach the Word. The flock is not fed with political mumbo jumbo.

Was Christ crucified not political? "No king but Caesar" they hollered. It was political in the 2 chief ways 'political' is so often a term of derision-- fear of a person's power (and those of his followers); and popularity, the right (or wrong) image. I will not agree the gospel is totally apolitical, from its beginning, its present, or its future in this world or the next. But if you think a church must hold republicans, democrats, nazis, greens, communists, jihadists, and many more either equal or in a pretention they do not exist, that is your privilege for now.
