Having the books and comprehending the content are two very different things.

So very true padre, my very first year teaching, I taught 7th grade. I often asked them to read something.....their definition of reading was this....

"my eyes have passed over the printed words, therefore I have read it"

One good reason not to buy so many books and to read books in print. But take my word I am reading several books very slowly so I can comprehend them.

Well I did not fully agree with them and so I did not read their books as slow as books by Mac and Reisinger.

This might come as a surprise to you but there are folks that don't fully agree with Mac, Washer, etc. and won't give them more than a cursory read.

Still have use as my primary Study Bible the Ryrie edition, 1977 Nasb!

NO ONE has absolute wisdom in biblical doctrines, no one was inspired after Apostle John, so would be wise to read and stay up with Both reformed and regular Baptist theologies!
