All the GOP needs to do is run someone the Christian right can get fully behind. That will get us all to the polls. Many many democrats will show lack of support for Hillary, by either voting GOP or not voting at all. All but about 14 Republicans will support our nominee.

If we can get the voter ID thing installed, about a million dead democrats won't be voting.

I'd even vote GOP if they would run someone I could support.

Not surprising for the party that has to send vanloads of campain workers to the Jails and prisons so as to get the votes of all fo their constituants.

In the last electon it was reported that the democrates made a very concerted effort to get election worker into the jails and prisons. Obviously, they know they have a majority vote in there. But remember, FP, you are not a democrat, so I don't expect you to be taking exception to that ;)

How is the movie comming along.

    Bunyon,

I am not taking exception to it. I just thought it odd, because convicted felons are not eligible to vote. I had not heard about anyone going into the prisons, therefore I asked. Frankly seems like a waste of time to me. [IMG]

Movie is going great, know of a good editor? Mine is missing in action.

I think they were going after the misdomeaner crowd and those awaiting trial. I don't know any editors. You are in a different world than I am. Can you find a talented student of cinima at a local university? Or try to get one of those Disney folks to moonlight for you?

Many of the prisons have Misdemeanents in them, and they are allowed to register and vote in most states. I think Massachusetts at one time allowed felons to vote and they still may.

A convicted felon can vote once his citizenship rights are restored, which generally takes place once the sentence is complete....i.e, no longer in prison or on parole/probation.

Hillclimber, it was explained to me in Chicago that just because a person now resided in what is commonly called a cemetery does not mean that a good Chicago precinct captain would not know how they would vote on election day because such a person certainly voted the straight Democrat ticket (or else) before he changed his residence. Fair is fair.

What does Peroutka and Baldwin have to do with Hillary and Condi? Some people simply amaze me at how long they will hold a grudge against fellow Christians out of their hate for their brothers in Christ. :(

The small handful of third party votes will make no difference as Senator Clinton rolls to victory.

They had a chance to vote for real pro-life christian candidates in a party with a solid pro-christian conservative platform and they voted for pro-gay baby killing republicans.

Translation: "They should have voted that way I did".

I don't know about anyone else, but I voted my conscience in the last election. For anyone to usurp my conscience is a bit pharasaical.

I was just telling Pancho that Hill would follow the platform of the far right when she is elected and for him not to worry. She will declare the war in Iraq illegal, end it immediately, repeal the Patriot act and have Peroutka and Baldwin over for dinner, which they will accept because if the Pres calls you then you go. Don't get all excited just because the GOP laughs at your platform. [IMG] We know about what your ticket will look like in '08. [IMG]

This ought to be quite a show - mud wrestling will pale in comparison - two intelligent women, black vs white, going for the jugular, vying for the most powerful job in the world...

I can hear the screeching, envision the nail clawing, and hair pulling now.....

    This will be a doozie.

If Condi will accept the draft that her supporters on working on to get her run, I would certainly butter up the popcorn and enjoy the action. [IMG]

I think that the only place that Senator Clinton's campaign would end up rolling in the general election is off of a political cliff.

    McCain/Powell (and not Michael Powell)

Democratic Ticket that would get this Republican's vote:
    Mark Warner / Obama
