I believe the West moved too fast and alienated Putin. Relations could be very good between us right now were it not for some hard headed hawks, among other things.

    From the article:

"The short-term prospects for fostering a sense of unity among Europeans—Eastern, Western, and American—are dim and will remain so for as long as the regimes of all the major states of the West are controlled by an elite class hostile to its own biological roots and cultural fruits."

Seems all the GOP has in it's lineup for 2016 are foreign policy imbeciles, for example:

Ben Carson: Arm Ukraine, Expand NATO, Rethink Russia's Position on UN Security Council

"The insurgent GOP presidential hopeful wonders if a Palestinian state could be carved out of Egypt."

Incredible. And Carson's just the tip of the iceberg of these warmongering lunatics.

“Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.” — Mark Twain
