I can, to an extent, understand why the defenders of the modern bibles would make false accusations against a defender of the KJV, but for the life of me, I just cannot understand why a KJV defender would make false accusations against another KJV defender who is following the word of God rather then a man. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is and how you would combat it?

    Thanx,
    Jim

What is the nature of the accusation?

Jim, You and Kyle both tend to swing first and ask questions later. Maybe this problem is a wake up call from God that it is time to change your ways. At the very least search a persons heart first and then if he mocks our God then go ahead and --- BLAST HIM.
    In Christ,
    Brian

P.S. Forgive me if the difficulty you are having is not with Kyle. But-- the advice is still the same. I have more to offer if you are interested, let me know! (the social worker in me is itching to help)

Let's keep the problems from another forum on the other forum, okay? [IMG]

Sorry Bro. Tom, I wasn't aware that coming to the brethren here for help and advise was against the rules. I'll make sure to not do it again.

Though for me life is more then just the forums here and I find you guilty of jumping to a conclusion because of what facts you do have regarding some of the other boards.

But anyways, I'm dropping it, and wontseek any help or anything here again.

    Only problem is...

you didn't come here seeking help. You came here seeking a judgemental argument and to turn people against Bro. Cassidy. Well, if you can't live with us modern version people, I would suggest you leave. If you are here to cause division and strife, then just go away.

    Good Bye

Whether you non-social work types believe or not Jim did come looking for help. Knowing what he is like from another board, the way he asked was the best he knew how to ask, for help that is. Brother Jim send me a private message if you like and we can talk without the BB "judges" getting involved.

Dear Warrior, (if you are still there)

What sometimes happens here on the BB is nothing new among baptists. We are in good company... [IMG]

KJV Acts 15:37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
    39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed...

So, as I understand you, modern version users are inherently sinful, lying and falsely accusing, while KJV defenders (I haven't met a MV user yet, who didn't defend the KJV) are fine, sanctified Christians who alone follow God's word rather than men. Therefore, by inference, KJVOs are Christian and MV users are not. IS that what you are saying? :(

Ummmmm Jospeh, unless you know something that I don't, there is no beef between Bro. Cassidy and myself. In fact, he isn't even one of the reasons for my original post in this thread. Now yes, there a few instances here on line that Bro Cassidy knows about between myself and O T H E R S, but as I said before, not between him and I.

I would ask that you not jump to a conclusion until you make sure you have all the facts first.

Yeah Hank, I know.I do appreciate you sharing the Scripture passage you did. It doesn't always make it easier, but it does help to have the Scriptural fact presented.

Thats sure what it appears I said isn't it? :(

No Chris, thats not what I am saying and I apologize for not being more clear. I am surprised that you would accuse me of saying such, but I understand why.

Chris, I honestly believe that I can use any mv out there, including the nwt, and lead a person to true salvation. Perhaps you missed my comments on this over on the AV1611 board. If you did let me know and I'll try to get the url to give to you.

In fact Chris, on several occasions I had to post rebuke and correction to "KJV only defenders" because of their following sinful ways rather then the Lord's ways.
