    I was at the top of the dam (shooting pelicans on the lake below) when he flew up to the dam from the creek on the other side and practically begged to be photographed. It's one of my favorites. I love herons, but they can be frustrating.

    Thanks! I punched up the saturation just a touch, and blurred the edges. I kinda like it. :)

    365 day photos

    Anybody here doing the 365 day photo thing?...I don't have the link handy, but you post a photo a day for a year. I just don't always have the time to think of doing a photo everyday but it would be a good discipline.
