    Thanks Gwen. We had a golden retriever, Molly, who passed away in August and found our home just too quiet. For better or worse, we needed a dog in whom we could have complete trust with a member of our family who is frail physically. Molly was so good in this area that we decided that another golden was the way to go.

    I know what you mean about Goldens. My son has one, and she is a really sweet, loyal dog. Enjoy the new puppy!

    Shodan, did you use a tripod for that shot? I can never hold my camera steady enough for night time shots to turn our well.

    One more.

    This is the Chapel at Baptist Memorial in San Angelo Texas. Taken after a visit to see my wife's dear grandmother a few days after Christmas. As you can see it is well after dark. It was handheld with a shutter speed of 1/4 so I was amazed that I got anything close to a keeper.

    Great color, Gwen. I sure hope we have a good crop of wildflowers this year; last year was so dry there were barely any flowers at all. I sure missed them.
