    LOL . . .

Seriously though, I take great offense every time I see someone call another Christian a Pharisee. Weren't the Pharisees lost and on their way to HELL? Don't folks stop to think what they're doing when they call blood-bought children of God lost?

yes sister it is very sad. I would say the Pharisees were represented as if they were lost and going to hell; yet I believe and I believe you would agree this depiction was not true in all cases of individual phariseeism. Saul of Tarsus would be the most noteable example.

But yes, on the whole, these things are sad to behold.

Christ said that he came not to bring peace but a sword and division and he said what will he if it already be kindled.

I am no great Bible scholar, but I have often tried to meditate upon that passage and what is the meaning of it.

I have never come to a conclusion that would satisfy me to say this is it I have it, but I do think it speaks toward the events surrounding the motives for building the tower of babel found in the OT.

As silly as it sounds, were we to all come together in perfect unity, I believe we as an institution would begin to build a city to make a name for ourselves.

While some may say this happens anyway and I am sure it does, I would answer this occurs more frequently where conviction, principle and belief are each compromised in the name of ecumenalism.

I know none of this is very much help in answering your question, sorry.

So we have come to the point where pointing out error, unless it is a really big error, makes one a Pharisee? This Pharisee accusation is amazing. The attitude seems to be, "If you point out the error of something I really like than you are a Pharisee."

Above it was suggested that I pick the nits of sin in my own life before I point out errors of others. Might I return that suggestion to the one who suggested it? My friend, I am constantly dealing with the nits of sin in my life and striving to deal with them Biblically.

How serious does error have to be before it is right to point it out?

And you know what, in some ways I agree with Harol Hill. River City probably would have been better off without the pool hall ;) .
