Ought to consider the "high country". Pesky bugs (like mosquitos) can't live at high altitude.

Of course, you don't have jobs, etc but hey, that's the give-and-take.

Mosquitos only bother "sweet" people.

They don't bother Dr. Bob and myself - because we are crotchety - miserable old men.

How could ANYONE as dapper as we are, Dan, be accused of things like "old" and "crochety"? Amazes me.

NEWS FLASH! One of the Crotchety Clowns has escaped the Big Top. It appears he used several helium balloons to make his escape.

Enough clowning around. Thought I'd change the subject.

What is your favorite meat to "grill" on the bar-b-q?

YES, I know it is the middle of winter. But I have a case of the "wishful thinking" on a cold winter's night.

I've learned when watching guys grill out NOT TO GET IN THE WAY. It is THEIR grill and sacred territory.

And they usually have long-handled, sharp utensils, too!

Pork ribs. No debate. With my special sauce. And, Blackbird, you'll be happy to know it includes lots of Worcestershire sauce. (Lee and Perrins, in Cajun.)

A page from www.buyburgers.com

100% USDA "Choice" Beef - A Bubba Burger™ is not just 100% beef but graded USDA "choice" beef which means we have the seal of approval of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. And folks, we're not talking 'bout just ordinary beef. These cows are grain fed in a lot, lying around being lazy, which makes for heckuva lot better beef than a bunch of cows roaming ;round a pasture eating everything in sight. Plus a Bubba Burger™ has plenty of "marbling" which gives it a juicy, delicious taste. And remember, Bubba never uses any fillers, artificial ingredients or trimmings! Never has, never will. That's a Bubba promise.

Lip smacking good..
