    Today I open the door, going out to plant some veggies and what do I see.... snow! I’ve never seen this in my life, not this late in the season. Come on, polar vortex!?!

    When I visited Mount Rushmore in the late 60s as a kid it had snowed a few days before and there was still some scattered around on the ground - in June.

    Where is that, in the Dakota’s. I know Canada and Maine.... even upstate NY, but NJ?

    South Dakota. My brother-in-law was stationed for several years at the Air Force base outside Rapid City.
