Come on, don't be shy. Think of all the predictions gone wrong so far.

    He won't run.
    He won't last a week.
He won't lead in the polls.
    He'll never get above 35%
He won't get the delegates to win the nomination.
He won't survive a brokered convention.
He'll lose to Hillary by a landslide.
He'll destroy the down ballot Republicans.
He'll get crushed and destroy the Republican Party.

Now he's President Elect, Donald Trump with both the House and Senate. Please share with us your future predictions: (come on, you know you want to)

    I got nothin'.

Oh....He will be the object of scorn by the leftists and liberals several times over the amount heaped on Reagan.

If anyone owns stock in any sectors receiving government subsidies..., well, it's probably too late to do anything about it now, you'll just have to hold and see what happens.

Would've been great to bought into coal last week.

Okay, a lot of these will sound like "duh" predictions but here goes:

    1. the MSM will call the US in an official depression on 01/20/2017. It will stay in one.
    2. price of gasoline will continue to rise until another bubble is popped, probably early in 2019..
    3. Obamacare will be gutted, only portability and existing conditions will remain in whatever replaces it.
    4. as another poster has pointed out in another thread, Trump will not only go to political war with the other party, but within the GOP.
    5. that Manchin guy in WV will defect any day now.
    6. green energy is dead.
    7. Trump will appoint at least one SCOTUS juror, maybe two in his first term. RBG can't hang on much longer and wants out now.
    8. there will be no tariffs or trade wars, Congress is dominated by free-traders for the most part - China will float the yeun after much diplomatic pressure, probably just once.
    9. deportations will rise dramatically and that will be easier than constructing the wall - have many eminent domain cases to wade through.
    10. as a result of the new SCOTUS, eventually RvW will be overturned and revert back to the states. SSM, not so much.
    11. Another result of the new SCOTUS, the 2A will be incorporated and soon.
    12. US/Israel relations will improve dramatically, Muslim countries will fall by the wayside.
    13. Trump will very soon realize that a trillion dollar plus economy has to be run differently from a billion dollar business.
    14. His cabinet will not be yes men for the most part but they will know how to manipulate him to think it was his idea all along.
    15. Trump will cut off funding to balking sanctuary cities, some will stand up to him and raise municipal taxes to pay for the shortfall. It won't work.
    16. Massive across-the-board deregulation and a move towards getting the government out of big business.
    17. could be a shift from economic theory grounded in the Austrian school instead of the Keynesian for the first time in decades.
    18. decentralization the the education system in general, Trump and his gang will push hard for school choice in the inner cities.
    19. political correctness will go dormant for at least twenty years.
    20. enough, saving the most "out there" prediction for last - Trump will be a one-term president or less and not because of impeachment or resignation.

    Would you elaborate further?

I'm a little old fashioned and slow with some things. Would you explain what that means?

    I'll modify that to:

They will LEARN how to manipulate him to think it was his idea all along.

I'm a proponent of nuclear energy, I think it's inevitable because it IS indeed a green energy and beats windmills and solar hands down. I've googled his views on nuclear and all I found is a statement he made, "I'm fine with it as long as no subsidies are involved"

Know anything else as to his views on nuclear energy?

It's just a gut feeling that Trump will serve four years or less as POTUS, could be a result of a sudden death or an assassination. There are a lot of crazies out there, his father lived well into his nineties and the sibling that died at a young age drank himself to death. I think Pence will top the ticket in 2020 and I have no idea why.

I watched Trump on his old tv show, and I realize those things are scripted, but it looked like he would take the lead from his "advisors" in the boardroom - they would pave the way for him to make the conclusion on which person to fire. I think his grown children already know how to work him, like what his daughter proposed at the RNC this summer.

    http://dailycaller.com/2016/02/20/heres-where-the-2016-candidates-stand-on-nuclear-power/

He's generally for it, will go all in on it if Hoffman becomes Secretary of Energy:
    http://undark.org/2016/11/15/donald-trump-nuclear-power/

Economic prediction, the DOW will crack 20k by the end of next year, some inflation creep, the restructuring of NAFTA, the death of TPP, duh and duh.

"..Hoffman’s hopes are modest, envisioning nuclear as 25 percent of the energy mix in the U.S. — a 5 percent uptick..."

France, at 80% nuclear, is way ahead of everybody.

The wall will be bigger than most people imagined and the high cost and methods of paying for it will be highly criticized, but it will be built.

The illegal aliens that remain will be given a path to legal status and there will also be at least some paths to citizenship for them.

The other countries in the world that have been blindly taking in refugees will realize by our example of gaining peace within and rising prosperity how big of a problem they have as attacks increase and their countries decline and they will begin to take the measures necessary to correct the problem which will likely become quite ugly since they are so inundated with the Muslim culture trying to impose their “rights” to promote Islam. Probably starting in Germany and shortly after France…

The attack on ISIS will make a statement to the world that a sleeping giant has awakened and the harsh and completely intolerant attitude and actions toward terrorists and those who harbor the radical Islamists will have the liberals shaking in their boots while they accuse the administration of war crimes and college protests turn to riots across the country similar to the days of the Vietnam War.

Israel will be emboldened, will pick their fights and finish them becoming more secure. Iran will likely act up in retaliation for new measures against them but if so they will be straightened out quickly, perhaps with Israel playing a large part, with no occupation or nation building afterward, same with North Korea. These things may cause fear of a World War but what happens to ISIS we will be respected and it will smooth over.

Jobs in the U.S. will dramatically increase as well as wages, followed by strong inflation but the standard of living will improve for most and housing sales and construction will return to the above level it was at before the crash thereby increasing the economical boom. Those who own homes with fixed mortgages and still work will have a lot of extra cash in their pockets but those renting on fixed incomes and welfare will have a hard time which will lead to increased government assistance although to fewer in number.

Money going out to foreign countries will be cut back in a big way. Those countries who feel entitled will be angry but others will learn to appreciate our help when we give it and we will.

Internet security will become a big issue. The need to start protecting our technical information from other countries accustomed to stealing it. The need to stop ISIS recruiting. Government surveillance will dramatically increase and the right to privacy will become a hot issue. False reporting and news along with privacy rights might get to the point of needing more clarifying of the 1st Amendment in the high courts.

Trump will appoint at least 2 SCOTUS and in about 3 years Roe Vs Wade will be overturned and given back to the states. Marriage is likely to be declared between a man and woman but gay rights to their unions will be protected and on equal terms.

Trump will finish his term. America will change a lot during this time. There may be a lot of big new dreams for our country and some of them might actually come to reality. Concern for his legacy and accomplishing more "great" things might cause Trump to run again. Bernie Sanders’ will be the only upcoming contender and hope for the liberals but his health will not allow him run again in 4 years. The next election will be a landslide for the Republicans.

The Global economy will be stunted while America rebuilds herself. The reason being because so many have been sponging off of us, using us as the world's police force, taking our jobs, technology, and money while they stab us in the back and spit on our ways of life. Us putting America first for a change will be a rude awakening for much of the world. We will be highly criticized for our Standard of American Exceptionalism but many if not most will become proud to be Americans once again... .

In McDonald v. the City of Chicago the Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment is incorporated by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and applies to the states. :)
