    He has been admitted to the hospital with pulmonary edema. He has been started on meds and is staying overnight for observation.

    New update from Mrs. Salty:

    "Hang on to your hat because now it's starting to get windy on Bob's blog....
    So this morning when I went to see him, he said his heart rate was back to normal...I thought to myself great news!!! He's finally going home! Yay! [​IMG][​IMG]. ...Um no...Doc came in and explained that even though when they do vitals on a machine, it's catching evert other heart beat...so it wasn't accurate. ..since he's on a Telemetry floor, that's what they mainly look at..a big screen where he's hooked up to a monitor...
    Bottom line...he's going to be scheduled for a cardioversion tomorrow where they will shock his heart back to normal. ..it may or may not work...we will see...oh and he also has new onset congestive heart failure because of everything that has transpired over the weekend..."
