Please pray for Philipp

    I have a former student, Philipp, whom I taught when he was in the 4th grade.

    He is now 17 and is in bad shape. He has lost both of his testicles to cancer in past few months. Now they have discovered cancer in his lymph nodes and serious blood clots in his lungs.

    He is coming home from the hospital for a few days and they are scheduling surgery for the blood clots first.

    It's not good.

    And, to my knowledge, he is not saved nor is his family. This is burdening me.

    Just picture in your mind a "rough as a cob" little country family. Please, please pray for Philipp's salvation and his healing.

    P.S. (I have another former student who lost it all to testicular cancer when he was in his late 20's. He obviously struggles, but he copes rather well - now he is in his late 30's - I only know about his struggles and coping because I also taught his sister and I teach with her. So my hopes are that Philipp can, too. But my biggest prayer is for Philipp's salvation.)

    I can imagine just how much this does burden you.....
    Yes I will pray for young Phillipp and his salvation and healing.

    :praying::1_grouphug: Dear Lord, we are so thankful that Scarlett O. has a burden for souls! We bring before You, Philipp who needs You as his Savior and
    Healer! We are thankful that Scarlett O. is teaching with another student's sister who is doing well, we pray that Philipp will be healed too. We bring these to You knowing that You hear and answer prayer! Praise You are The Awesome God we serve,love and have as our Savior too! In Jesus' Name we pray.AMEN

    I am moved by the magnitude of Phillipp's pressing needs for salvation and the dire conditions of his health and possibly lack of support from a family of faith. Praying for him and his physical and spiritual needs and also for his family and friends. Praying also that God has/will prepare someone to kindly entreat him...... and that miracles will be worked to the glory of God, in him and through him in Jesus Christ.

    for healing of his body and for salvation!
    Both of these are requiring a miracle from You dear,LORD!

    Philipp's surgery for the removal of most of his lymph nodes and the lung blood clots was scheduled for day before yesterday (Wednesday).

    They could not do it because his temperature will not subside - 104.

    Please continue to pray.

    They called the family in on Saturday, April 2. On Monday, April 5, he was still alive and they went into his heart and removed the clot. I amazed by the grace of God that he is still here.

    He may even get to come home on April 25. The lymph node surgeries are still pending.

    I believe with all of my heart that God is sparing him so that he can be saved.

    I talked to his mother last week at a local store and when I mentioned that I pray for Philip, she just gave me a deer in the headlight look. I saw his father about two weeks ago while getting gasoline and I mentioned that I pray and he just got angry and gave me a look that you don't want to see.

    Continue your prayers and THANK YOU for them.

    Thank You, Lord that the blood clot was removed from Philipp's heart, we are continue to pray for his spiritual heart that he will want to ask You to become his Lord and Savior! Thanks for Your mercy and grace on him.

    A week and a half ago, Philipp had 36 lymph nodes removed. Only four of them should any bad signs. They thought that he would lose a kidney, too, but he didn't, praise the LORD. :godisgood:

    (I didn't even know that there are that many lymph nodes in the body, but I checked it out and actually there are between 500-700!)

    I talked to his mother, briefly, about that time and told her that I was praying for him. She just gives me this blank stare every time that I talk about prayer. I don't push the issue, but I just want Philipp to know that I pray for him.

    God is taking care of Philipp. Continue to pray for the whole family and that he will have no more surgeries.
