    LAS VEGAS (Sept. 16) -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday and faces multiple felony charges in an alleged armed robbery of collectors involving the former football great's sports memorabilia, authorities said.

    Prosecutors were planning to charge Simpson with two counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and coercion, said Clark County District Attorney David Roger.

    A conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each count, he said.

    Funny if he gets jail over this. Like the G-Men going after Al Capone over tax evasion.

    In any case, who will scour the nation's golf courses in search of the "real" killers if OJ gets put in the pen for a long time?

    I saw a quote on SportsCenter this morning from OJ. In part of it, he said something along the lines of "I'm O.J. Simpson. Why would I think I could get away with armed robbery?"

    I suspect he thought he could because he got away with a double-murder 12 years ago.

    • OJ's not near the financial shape he was when he killed Brown & Goldman. How is he gonna afford to buy his freedom this time? I think the well's dry.
    • I wonder if he's got the money to hire the attorneys that can find 12 people in Nevada stupid enough to believe another conspiracy.
    • I wonder if he wore a glove to commit this crime.

    OJ still receives his NFL pension and still has his home. Plus, we still don't know how much $$ he has hidden away from the Goldman family.

    Everytime i turn on the news...all i see is something about OJ over the last 2-3 days: :BangHead:
    They even pre-empted Hannity's American and 1/2 Hour News Hour last night on FNC to talk about this.
    It's like a bad nightmare...hopefully i'll wake up soon!
