How much attention do you really pay to the endorsement of candidates?

About the only endorsement i would consider would be that of a candidate i supported who is no longer in the race...but i doubt it would actually influcence my vote since it hasn't in the past.

Zero, although an endorsement by a entertainer usually confirms the person I am voting against.

I noticed a number of people are saying it depends on who is doing the endorsing.

How so? Why does it matter? Do certain endorsements have a negative influence as well as a positive influence, as noted above?

Honestly, I can't think of anyone at all that I trust to evaluate politicians more than I trust myself.

I agree. But sadly the masses just rely upon the endorsers. Laziness maybe. The only Endorser I go to is Jesus Christ. I take each and every issue to God's word and in the end come up with a yea or nay (no such thing as a lesser of two evils with me). Some don't take long to get the axe, but I haven't taken the time yet to look into them closely. I'm just now starting to pay some attention.

    God Bless!

I've actually used that tactic a couple times in local politics, where truth is obscure.

Looking at the results of this poll, this is either a unique group or , for the most part, picking up endorsements is a waste of time.

I am curious, though, whose endorsement could possibly influence someone enough to change their vote and why?

If I were a prominent Christian leader today, I'd not compromise my standards by endorsing any of the current crop. So......I view any endorsement with skepticism, resulting in less respect for the endorsee..... I want some of our so called spiritual leaders to come out against all, or just hush up, for now. Plenty of time later for persuading the masses.
