It was asked if users of various Versions feel the same about Jesus as their own Savior and Lord.

The section on "Using a variety of translations" will catch some KJVPs and MVPs.

Although we may have different wording of translation, the meaning of the text should remain the same. I would truly hope that each of us would accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord on what the Bible teaches on the Subject.Irrespective of what version it is.

I guess the point of this is that whether we learned about Christ from KJV, NKJV, NASB, or NIV, we still worship the same Jesus, who is Lord and Savior of us all. The Jesus of the MVs is identical to the Jesus of the KJV.

I am amazed and dumbfounded.

Every single person, no matter whether KJV only, KJV preferred, MV only or MV preferred - every single person - claimed that Jesus was their Savior and Lord.

Think we can learn something from this poll?

Yes, I wish it was that versions don't matter but, sadly, it only tells us that the words are so general, that everyone who calls themselves a Christian claims them. (JW's, RCC,s, Mormons, Baptist's, et al.)
