And I hear tell you'll be serving Grits, Hog Jowl's and Boiled peanuts all three meals but collards and corn bread at midnight.

Is that the truth Bro. David, cause I'm not voting for you if I have to eat yankee fixin's!

Weeeeeeeeeel! Blackbird has this motto--"If it ain't fit'in for Jethro Bodin to 'et---it won't get 'et!"---grits, jowls, feet, and for seafood lovers---crawfish--all you can eat--every day of the cruise!

For Diane---and all the other Southern Belle's---won't be no dancin'--no square dancin'---no rappin'---no line dancin'---no disco'in--no Polka---no Waltz----just hour upon hour of Southern Gospel live entertainment---and Southern Baptists best preachin'-----you have to mark the check by Blackbird to see who's preachin'!!

    Ed -
    1964, Goldwater lost to LBJ
    1968, Nixon beat HHH
1972, Nixon won in a landslide over ??, and then Watergate scandal etc. forced him to resign.

TRIVIA ? - Who was President of the USA without ever being elected to Pres. or Vice Pres.??

Back to the topic, is there a way to see the "list of nominees" without clicking the voting link?
It would be nice to see it, and ponder on my votes.

If I click on the voting link, and don't vote right then, does that negate my chance to vote?

I need a more substantive bribe, or premium, gift, whatever you want to call it. [IMG]
How about a projection system and Laptop computer for our church?
That would also include tickets to watch my Sooners win the Sugar Bowl, of course. [IMG]

As sometimes happens in political campaigns, I'm running out of funds! Anyone interested in donating $$$ to my campaign for MOY, please feel free to send me a PM! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

(Can't guarantee it will be tax deductible.)

No, it does not. Until one hits the "submit" button, no votes are recorded and you may view the list as often as you like. [IMG]

    You should vote for your
fellow Oklahomans: Ed Edwards of Norman,
and his wife Thankful. [IMG] And I think RSR is Oklahoma also. Thank you.

You may view the pool (do not click on
SUBMIT VOTE), use the red X to back out
of the poll. You can still reenter to vote.

You can only vote once. So have in
mind all the 1 to 5 persons for whom you
    desire to vote.

Blackbird can answer that question with his eyes blindfolded--

    Gerald Ford

That ought to be good enough to move him up in the polls

You're right, Bro. David. Tyler had been vp for only one month when he became President and had no vice president under him.

Blackbird, You beat me to it. I knew the answer was Gerald Ford.

He was appointed by Nixon to replace Spiro Agnew, who resigned and then when Nixon resigned, he became president.

How did this get in the MOY Thread?

Do I get a vote now?

Which amendment made it possible for Nixon to appoint Ford?

Who was the second man appointed to the Vice-Presidency?
