Polls Just Opened in NC

    As we sometimes say in the south, "We're in the short rows now".

    Polls just opened in NC for the final countdown. Local news is reporting that about half of the folks have already voted. Video shows steady stream of folks. Voting before they have to go to work.

    We'll wait until about mid-morning to avoid the early, lunch-hour, and after work crowds.

    Now the local news is reporting a probable delay in getting the results. Anticipating the likelyhood of more hanging chads. :(

    I just got back. Our polls opened up at 6 CST. When I got there about 10 minutes early, the line already had over 100 in it. Usually I walk right in. I would be surprised if Obama pulled 35% in Kentucky, and even less in our county.
