I'm certain the ladies mean well, but their methods are carnal. They need to desire the sincere milk of the Word to learn and grow thereby.

What are these women thinking??? How dare they go places I would never go and tell people that I would be really uncomfortable talking to that God loves them, Jesus died for them, and they don't have to continue in the life they are living.!!!

As for the thread title - are sinners really supposed to threatened by the Gospel?

I think the propogation of the Gospel would threaten all sinful industries - don't you? Didn't the idol makers in Acts 19 feel threatened by the Gospel? What kind of gospel is it when an unrepentant practicing pornographer says:

"We love what they do," said Mary Carey, an adult megastar. "They are there when the girls need them. I don't consider myself a sinner, I'm not harming anyone, and porn is really just free speech. But it's good that Annie and Heather are doing their thing."

    And then this:

"A lot of guys pose for photos with us, and when they go home and look up what's on our T-shirts, they learn what we?re about. We call it booby-trapping," said Lobert.

How about THAT for a description of "relevant" ministry - "booby-trapping".

Jeremiah 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

The lost world doesn't need more people like them. It needs a holy spirit filled person of God to walk in purity and righteousness carrying the seed and prepared to deliver the gospel in spirit and power.

"with some have compassion, making a difference; others save with fear, hating even the garment stained with sin"

"God hates all workers of iniquity"

"But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil..."

Pornographers don't need to hear a lawless gospel.

"Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
    10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Okay, so if you don't like the way they're reaching out to the people trapped in the sex industry, you go to the next porn convention and call them whoremongers who are going to hell. And be sure to throw in the part about how much God hates them.

It ain't about an industry, J.D., it's about people.

The quote, "They are there when the girls need them" is what it's all about. They aren't saying that about you and me, bro.

I would not tell them that God hates them, but neither would I tell them that God loves them. I would ask them if they believe that God loves them and then I would ask them to expand on their response whether yes or no and go from there.

There is a tactful way to present the wrath of God by going through the ten commandments like Ray Comfort does. If they can see that they've offended God by their sins, then the cross might look more appealing. This is the power of God unto salvation.

But if that doesn't work, there's always "booby traps".

Like them? They are amongst the lost?

    Shame on you.

Who better than an ex prostitute to walk the street witnessing to her old friends.

I am sure she tells them the whole truth regarding salvation as best she knows how. She is young, looks around 19 years old.

Jesus got to know people before preaching to them. No one says right up front "Hey you're going to hell, the bible has a name for you" unless they are deliberately trying to cause others to stumble.

Matt 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" He called a little child, whom he placed among them. 3 And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes a humble place—becoming like this child—is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. "If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

You are grasping at straws trying to find something sinful in her spreading the gospel.

God loves them. But, they aren't telling them the truth. God wants them to change their wicked ways and follow him. I'm tired of watered-down "love preaching." It's false doctrine.

Where do the scriptures say be a hooker/ harlot for me? We are not to be of this world. Seems they are trying to make money rather than convert sinners.

    John 15:18-19 (KJV)
18: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

So, they are still causing men to lust after them and renamed it. They aren't teaching sound doctrine. They are teaching a false, powerless, and godless doctrine. God may love the sinner and would save them if they changed their ways, but if they don't God will still send them to hell.

    Romans 1:28 (KJV)
    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

God bless those girls for what they are doing. I have no doubt whatsoever that their ministry will be fruitful. It appears that it is already, actually.

If there are some *adjustments* that need to be made in their presentation God will have no trouble taking care of that.

    Jesus said...

...and it is abundantly evident that they are lifting up Jesus Christ for those who need and desire him.

    Praise God! \o/

That is an assumption. A 26 year old girl witnessed to has a changed ife. She has given her $ and a palce to stay, and she is now a hotel receptionist. That is a changed life, we shouldn't assume otherwise.
They are former prostitutes who are reaching other prostitutes. The name describes their ministry. As they grow in the Lord, they will likely change the name.

Where did you get that? They got a church to sponsor their website and a few donations.

    John 15:18-19 (KJV)
18: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Again, we don't know she is teaching a godless doctrine. The article didn't get into it, only had a few sentences in which that she teaches the Lord loves them unconditionally which is true (John 3:16) and they are being non-judgemental as they should.

Exactly. Which is why she is witnessing to these people. We ought to be encouraging her, praising her, lifting her up and supporting her. Not making negative assumptions about her ministry.

    The scribe,

How do you know? You are privy to every single conversation they are having with those lost porn people? You know every thing that has been said confidentially in conversation?

What did you do, go and plant secret microphones to listen in?

The truth is you have no idea what those girls are saying when God opens doors for His truth.

Which I'm sure those girls are telling them when the door is opened for that.

Right. Those Westboro Baptist Church "God Hates Fags" folks are doing so much better, arent they?

And you know this...how? You have access to every conversation they have had with those girls?

How do you know...without hearing what they are sharing after they gain the confidence of those they are counseling?

Thats not true. God never does it that way. God saves us just as we are, and then, after being born of the Spirit, the change begins. We are powerless to change until we have the source of power...God Himself working in us.

I guess the same thing goes for the preachers everyone likes to tear down on here? These girls still go to the same places they used to go to. God told us to stay away from den's of iniquities. Bars, dance clubs, and especially the porn conventions these girls still go to.

I didn't mean they have to change before they are saved. But, you can't be saved then go right back to your old life. They have to be willing to change their life completely.

    2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    The Scribe,

But not for the same reason. They have left the lifestyle...repented...and are now going there in order to witness to those who are still in it.

They are going to share Christ.

But Jesus was criticized because he walked among the sinners. He let a prostitute care for Him with her hair and tears. He walked among the lepers and sinners and dregs of society. He was criticized for it.

The Pharisees would holler out "Unclean!! Unclean!!" when they would come through, but Christ joyfully went among them.

He actually spoke to, and asked for water from, a Samaritan woman!!! It was unlawfull for them to do that.

    But Christ did it.

To WITNESS! To WITNESS! To WITNESS!

To share Christ with those still in that industry.

Personally, I wouldnt be surprised if in due time God causes them to change some things. Maybe change names like "Hookers for Jesus!" to something else, or maybe other changes.

But right now....these are new believers, with great great zeal, and a heart for those caught in what they once were caught in.

I think its great what they are doing.

The scriptures tell us not to even eat with fornicators and so on. They could provide a shelter for women who want to stop being prostitutes, porn stars, etc, but going to the conventions is wrong , going into the conventions and setting up a booth is keeping company with fornicators.

    2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

    1 Corinthians 5:9-11 (KJV)
9: I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11: But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
