Possum Drop

    Ozzie possums do have sharp teeth.....a fool staffer one night coming to work saw a possum with a baby on her back and thought "how cute" and foolishly stretched out a hand to stroke it.
    Mama wild animal bit the hand and did not let go. The security guy came arunning at the sounds of the girl screaming and made the possum let go by firing a water extinguisher at it.

    We rescued the now distressed mama possum which sadly died of shock and of course the baby died because it lost its mama....

    Sad story but the moral is wild is wild and leave them alone.......

    I thought this thread was about food. Never met a possum that wouldn't fit in a pie tin. ;)

    I met George Jones back in 1989 in Hampton Virginia. Also met his wife Nancy and her daughter. They were kind people. He gave me and my wife his home phone number. My wife and I talked to him a couple times.

    He was on the road alot back then, so I did not always get a hold of him when I called.
