On the Saturday before Mother's Day the mailm an will pick up bags of cans or boxed food to give to your food bank. You can also take some of the food to the post office the week before the postal food drive.

I've left food before and they won't pick it up. Christian foodpantries will not be recieivng this food, and the churches are the only food pantries in this town.
My current church in another town has a foodpantry, and here in the town I live in, my old church has a foodpantry. If I want to denate I'd rather donate to a church.
And I do frequently shop just for the food pantry.

I left it out once, right below the mailbox, right where they told us too, and they left it there.
I'd rather give to christian food pantries anyway, that way people hear the gospel , and I'm contributing to that.

would rather give food thorugh a church or other christian organization, something that involves the gospel, not the governement.

Only the mailmen and not the mailwomen? We have one of those here. Or is there some "politically correct" term to use for female mail carriers?
