Pressing hot buttons like posting about going to church in a bikini, going to casinos, playing video games, Harry Potter, smoking and beer...

    What do you think?

Maybe we could come up with a doozy!

    My problem is --

    1. I'm just too matter of fact.
    2. I don't care enough about the hoopla.
    3. I'm not a great big talker. (I do talk a lot, but it's in short spurts.)

does that sound like a math teacher or what!?!

But I still think if we put our minds to it, we could come up with a doozy.

How about beer drinking, cigarette smoking, obese, angry beavers goin to a casino (that is playing CCM) , while the women are arguing over what is proper to wear.... bikinis or pants..

Meanwhile back in the other part of town, others are watching them and wonder if they were predestinated to walk into the casino... but then someone came along and said they must not be of the elect because they are not carrying a 1611 KJV... but a 1769 KJV...

But then they saw another one come out of a movie of Harry Potter, playing their Nintendo DS... and they just shook their heads and asked.... "What happened to the old paths?"

Did I mention they were SBC, and talking in tongues...

We could always start a thread about holding church in a casino while playing video games, watching movies, drinking and smoking. That's as far fetched as some random girl wandering into a church in a bikini.

We could have service on the beach at the open bar serving coconut non-alcoholic drinks with a pastor from Hyles Anderson that lost his KJV and all we can find is an NIV for him to use as a substitute while he sweats in his suit as we evangelize the bkinis and the speedos . . .

If they Hyles pastor did use an NIV, would he lose his salvation?

Now you know that'a silly question.

Everybody knows that Paul used the KJV, so anything else is heresy!!!!

    We could change the setting

Italy -- big wine vat -- stomping grapes, short skirts . . . backdoor to the Vatican

    I see potential

IS that real fermented wine? Or the welches variety?
Or should we have a discussion as to what it actually is?

Umm... If it's still going, I know of one of those in Indianapolis. I know a man who left it when they started permitting alcohol at the actual services.

You forgot about the couple who went back to their room to play "go fish" (cards) after going out dancing. ;)
