When I first saw this at CT, I said Amen.

I have nothing but praise on my lips and in my heart.

A sinner has repented and placed faith in Christ.

An exporn star has come to Christ.

    Source material.

This reminds me of my devotions this morning where the church at Corinth was encouraged to "affirm your love" for the man who had been removed from the church for his incestuous relationship and had repented.

Yes! This is quite similar, and I hope that this church has a solid discipleship program.

Veitch goes to strip clubs to minister to dancers?

What happened to "Come out from amongst them and be ye separate"?

Jesus said to go to the highways and byways, not the strip clubs and bars.

Paul went into the synagogues to convert Jews to the Messiah (Acts 17:1ff), Was he disobeying Jesus, because he didn't go to the "highways and byways"?

And you might want to consider this:

"The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds" (Matt 11:19).

    Be careful?

Are we not to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves?

Taking people in strip clubs in the name of Christ is not wise.

Paul did indeed go into synagogues... places of worship.

They may be worshiping in the strip clubs, but I can guarantee it is flesh and not Christ that is worshiped there.

I'm in no way sanctioning worship services in a strip joint as such or even trying to do effective evangelism there.

I understand your concern SFIC, but no one is doing worship services there. They are trying to reach people in that group and bring them OUT. The woman who is doing the witnessing has indeed come out and become separate. She is now trying to reach people for Christ and help them to separate themselves from this evil.

I was in the mall one day with my wife watching what we called the "freak show." Little teenage girls were holding hands but they weren't holding hands because they were just "friends." Some boys were doing the same thing. We saw tattos and piercing in various and sundry places. One kid had a safety pin stuck through his cheek with a chain attached to it leading down to his collar. Another kid had a collar on and was being led on a chain by another boy. It was indeed a "freak show." In my heart there was nothing but disgust for these freaks messing up my mall experience. That was until the Lord convicted me. In my heart I heard his small still voice. "I wouldn't be sitting here. I would be reaching out to them." And its true. Jesus would have been seen with them just as he was seen with the tax collectors, prostitutes, and other "freaks." By the way, if I recall, the so called "godly" people heavily criticized him for it.

Since that is your take on that verse, I would hope you're at least consistent in application and are avoiding Wal-Marts, McDonalds, Walgreens, all public transportation places such as airports and bus stations, as well as most baptist churches, since all of those places are known to be filled with people of this world.
