Prayer for a church family

    I have never posted a prayer here before, but today it's heavy on my heart so I've come to ask for prayer.

    A couple in my church lost their 4 year old son yesterday to brain cancer. They will bury him tomorrow. I cannot imagine the grief they are going through. I have lost much in the last year, but nothing can compare to the loss of your child.

    If God leads, please remember this family in your prayers. The little boys name is Justin.

    Unfortunately, this happens too often. I can't begin to imagine how you even get through that - even having the hope as we do as Christians. I'll be praying for them Amy.

    Lord, our hearts go out for these precious parents, family and friends, who are grieving at this time.
    We know that the Holy
    Spirit will be there to give them comfort,might and strength to continue each hour with You. We know that You are with them because You have promised NEVER to leave them alone!! In the name of Jesus we pray. AMEN
