Prayer for Vision

    For some reason (undiscerned by both doctor and retinal specialist) my vitrious in my left eye has separated from the retina. Lots of flashes, floaters, etc and caused concern while preaching yesterday.

    Thought it might just have been low blood sugar but they found more damage. It did NOT, praise God, tear the retina although it is still attached in a few places.

    Nothing to be done for six weeks to see if it continues clinging or separates completely, prayerfully without tearing as it separates. Danger in lifting and flying (I'm doing both, traveling to Minnesota and Wisconsin) and even just rubbing my eyes.

    So ask prayer. Separation is non-threatening unless it tears so MY prayer is for no tear (my wife's tore 7 years ago and she did 240 laser stitches to get it back to normal; not an easy time of it).
