I'm not particularly fond of Rick Warren. I just don't have a problem with him publishing his sermons or with anyone buying them.

    1 John 4:7-8...

Imagine that...loving a fellow believer. Almost sounds Scriptural, doesn't it?

    Let's see...

    Anti-Catholic
    Anti Rick Warren

Do you want to add some more "anti's" to the list, or is it about time for some "for's"?

Is the only reason you joined up of the BB to run people down?

    Edited to add...

You know, I've been a thinkin' (I know, kind of dangerous). I think I'd rather be know for what I am for rather than what I'm against. So, I'm for Jesus Christ and anyone else who is for Him.

So Christians arent suppose to do this?

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].

I'm concerned as a pastor dont you teach your church about the errors of Rome? I dont mean you have to dwell on it every Sunday, but this worries me...

Try and help me here, would you think it was wrong for someone to confront someone on the errors of Mormonism and Jehovah Witnesses as well?

I'm a Bible Christian for everything God's Word says:)

I want Catholics and those stuck in false cults to have a true relationship with Jesus Christ and not be led into the end times delusions that will lead them into the arms of the antichrist.

Was Jesus Christ or the apostles being too "negative" when they warned of Satan?

Hmm was Paul being "down" on Belial?

[IMG]2Cr 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Did he preach about it in every one of his epistles?
    Was it his major theme?

Christians aren't supose to be putting down and jumping on other christians, yet it seems thats your only purpose here, you refuse to reasonably discuss anything you just slam people. Which is not effective at getting your point across.

I hope you love RW, as you are commanded to. If you hate the man, you are a murderer.

NO.. We preach the word of God... not our opinions...
God did not call me to preach my opinions, but "thus saith the Lord"

Yes.. .but not get on a Board and condemn brothers and sisters in Christ...
    Confront them via Matt 18..
Have you talked to Rick Warren?
Have you talked to the Pope?
If not, quit your slanderous tirade.

I am glad to hear that, notice the scriptures at the end of the post.. it would do you good to go meditate on them a while.

And calling them names will help this?

RW is not Satan... I call on you to apologize for your slander.

Here are some scriptures you should look at...
    1Jn 3:11
    (11) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

    1Jn 3:14-15
    (14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death.
    (15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

    1Jn 3:17
    (17) But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

    1Jn 3:23
    (23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

    1Jn 4:7-8
    (7) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
    (8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

If you are having trouble loving others, check your relationship with Christ…

Wow, those scriptures work on this post too...

A neo-Ifb is one that has added to the classic fundamentals to the point that classic fundamentalists are ashamed to be identified with them..

Go read some threads in the fundamental part, and you will see some definitions...

As a pastor, I preach and teach the truth, the word of God - book by book, verse by verse. What is important is that Christians understand and apply the truths of God's Word. The vast majority of my preaching is expounding truth, not exposing untruth. In fact, I believe that when God's people understand God's Word, they will recognize the lies ("the errors of Rome") when they hear them.

After I'm long gone, I want people to say, "That man preached God's Word" instead of, "That man always ran [fill in your pet group] down." See the difference?

The truth will always replace lies..
    .

    It is like this...

    Forget the number 13 exists....
Go ahead.. take 10 seconds to do this, then scroll down...

    ..

    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .Did you forget about it?

No, of course not.. you were concentrating on forgetting about 13 so much, you can't do it...
But if I tell you to think about nothing but the number 24, for the next 10 seconds.... you will not think about 13...

By the way, did you think about the number 111 while trying to forget 13 exists?

    I bet you didn't...

    This principle applies here...
We Baptists know that Rome is wrong...
But if we only concentrate on how wrong Rome is, we will never get anything positive done...

    But

If we concentrate on the Gospel, we will infuse truth into people that will vaccinate against the infections of Rome..

Preachers are called to preach the Good News... not the evils of Rome...
When we have nothing but Christ in our hearts, there will be no room for evil....
