    The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

George Bush, unlike many presidents, has frequently proclaimed his faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. He is our brother in Jesus Christ.

How many on this Forum can honestly say that they are obedient to the Scripture as presented by the apostle Paul? [I am not talking about voting for him.]

Jimmy Carter and John Shelby Spong claim to be Christians too. I have my doubts about all three. All three, IMO, at the very least are heretics.

Sun Myung Moon says he received his calling to preach in 1935 on Easter Sunday, when he met Jesus on a mountainside in Korea, too.

    OR,

Just how are you defining preferring? If Hillary Clinton is the next president will you feel the same way?

Bush is a baby christian who seems to lose the civil war with his past...when it comes to an almost fascist mentality (fascism lite) ..look at what he believed early in his college days and you can see him losing his battle with the flesh...he uses fear not faith that I would admonish him one christian to another.

So, now it seems okay for members of this board to question the salvation of a professing Christian. (Evidence the vote for "I could care less about George Bush".)

While I may have trouble with accepting that claim of some professing Christians, until I am shown irrefutable evidence that the individual is not saved, then I must treat that person as a brother or sister in Christ.

As far as the Hillary rabbit trail, she is not the poiint of the poll.

No she is not, but I cannot vote in the poll until "preferring" is defined. Does OR mean that Gearge Bush's political stance and policies should be preferred because he is a Christian? I am not sure exactly what OR means by preferred, or if it is even being used in the correct context.

Another dumb poll. Time to get over making excuses for Bushes behavior. We must move the country forward without him.. George likes to take credit for his successes but accepts no blame for what he does wrong.

I am defining it the same way the Apostle Paul defined it.

Has Hillary Clinton openly proclaimed her faith in Jesus Christ the way George Bush has? When she does so ask me again.

Moon is a heretic as the following commments show:

But he can't help it. Moon has been claiming for decades (like The Beatles before him) that he is bigger than Christ. In a 1990 sermon, he reiterated this belief (note that Moon always addresses himself in the third person, usually as "Father"):

"Jesus never achieved a thousandth of what Father has done. In his two years and eight months of public ministry, [Jesus] didn't even establish the national foundation. Now, Father has established a foundation of worldwide power that is unprecedented in history."

Moon has a bad habit of comparing himself favorably to his predecessor, proclaiming that he will succeed where Jesus has failed, and so on. This kind of material kills with the home crowd, but it doesn't really do so great on the road. But apparently this is irrelevant, since Moon seems to have become utterly oblivious to the shocked reactions of his public audiences.

Are you claiming, like Botwink, that George Bush is a heretic?

If you read the poll you should have noted that I said I was not talking about voting for Bush. Thet rules out preferring his political philosoply.

Matthew 7[15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
[18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The response is what I expected. I just wanted to give those self-righteous Pharisees on this Forum another venue to express their "Christlike" attitude.

For those Bush Haters who claim to be Christians I repeat the words of the Apostle Paul: Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; [Romans 12:10]. I see little evidence of that brotherly love on this Forum.

For those of you who think Bush a heretic, Botwinick and Lady Eagle, I would say examine your own faith.

Botwinick and Rocko9 are both from Arkansas! Enough said!

Lady Eagle, I could say that dispensationalism was heretical since it claims that Jesus Christ failed in his purpose to establish the Messianic Kingdom for the Jews, but I won't. Isn't that similar to what Moon claims, that he is the second messiah, to succeed where Jesus Christ failed?

</font>[/QUOTE]Nothing in the above passage of Scripture you posted shows that George Bush is a heretic. Please show me which of the above are directly applicable to George Bush and then provide proof that you are guilt free.
