Having watched a bit of it on the Internet, President Bush appeared rather confident.

May God use his second term to do great things for the American people.

I thought he seemed relaxed, not on edge, perfectly at ease with the reporters.

The last election, he really didn't have a mandate and the left continually has harped the past 4 years how he "stole" the election through the Supreme Court, how their voters were "disenfranchised." That he wasn't our "legitimate" president, ad nauseum.

Now that is put to rest. He has a mandate. The left has been put down by an over 3.5 million voter difference. And more Republicans in Congress. It must be a relief for him - you could see it in his face. It is my hope he will do fine.

It is my prayer God will give him the heart of David, the courage of Daniel, and the wisdom of Solomon. [IMG]

Today was Laura Bush's 55th birthday. President Bush got her a new puppy that they can have in Dec.

    So was Bill Clinton.

What difference does that make? All that counts is what he implements as policy. Why would you expect that to change?

He did seem well. He looked rested, spoke well, didn't smirk at all.

Jim, a person very often sees only what they want to see. Bush made wise decisions in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, has proven a courageous leader who (despite claims to the contrary) hasn't abandoned his faith in favor of political expediency.

As an American citizen, I want a leader who has these qualities, even if I don't agree with him. Others' opinions seem to suggest the only good leader is a leader that acts and thinks in only their prescribed manner.

Right is on our side. And we'll prevail, because we're a fabulous nation, and we're a fabulous nation because we're a nation full of fabulous people. ~President G. W. Bush

I am willing to forgive President Bush for his failed policies in the past. I am willing to forgive and pray for him because God allowed him to remain in office.

I'm glad he did remain in office, for a host of reasons - and one of them is that bin Laden got the big message that Americans aren't cowards, we will not be intimidated, and we aren't gonna cower in the corner and be manipulated by him like Spain did!

You're right, PA Jim, the American people did get what they voted for. I pray GW Bush will seek God's Face in ALL matters and have the courage to follow through for righteousness!

We sent a big message to the liberal Hollywood hate America crowd, too - and they're already lining up to leave! That alone is worth it! ;)

Listen to LadyEagle! Amen. I am looking forward toward the next four years. And as LadyEagle prayed, I pray that God directs our President and leads this country more toward Himself.

Who can we "give the boot to" first??

But first---here's a list of shows Blackbird wants them to leave behind---the rest of Helly-I mean, Hollywood can get their hat and coat and leave!!! Bon-voy-age!!! AH-Sta-Le-Veeesta!! Baaaaby!!

Now---for the list of shows they can leave behind

All "Bonanza" series---that's right!! Hoss, Little Joe, Paw, Adam, Hop Sing, and Sheriff Coffee!!!

All "Gunsmoke" series---Marshall Dillon, Festus, Newly, Miss Kitty, Sam, and certainly Doc!!

All "Star Trek" series---can't make it without Captain Kirk!!!

The rest of Hollywood---never mind turning out the lights on your way out!!! We'll handle that!!

Bush is president of a deeply divided country. He is free of re-election worries. We will see the real George Bush this time.

Please God, let it be the kind of man Governor Bush was, not the kind of man we had for the last four years.
