I know it isn't much of a game, but by chance is anyone coming to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl? This is my 4th Pro Bowl in a row and I really didn't want to go except that my son persisted. This will be our last year in Hawaii and our last Pro Bowl. Believe it or not, this game brings a lot of tourists and a lot of players and celebrities over here for the week. But, it is disgusting what the players charge these days for autographs. I think Marino wants $99, how times have changed. God Bless.

    Aloha!

Isn't the Pro Bowl that cash cow that fills the week between the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500?

Keep the hype going, isn't that the American way. If you don't want to dance, don't even call for the fiddler!

It's meaningless. They change the rules to make it an offensive slanted games (like blitzes and rushing etc). Its like watching a scrimmage, only less exiting.

Lets see. No zone coverage, strictly man to man. No blitzes, (how did these linebackers make it here)? No 3 or 4 wideout sets, (is Marvin Harrison in, to bad). No double tight end sets, (sorry mister Gonzales.) Strictly preseason vanilla. But I will watch. Why? Because this is it till draft day. Such a sad commentary on my interests in life.

Yeah I don't watch it cuz it is so boring. With all those rule changes I don't know how they can call it football anymore. I might watch three plays but that's about it.

Maybe if the NHL ever comes back they'll change the rules in the all star game. No checking. No slapshots. No spitting on camera, etc.

The only all star game that has ever been worth watching is the baseball all star game.

The NFL's used to be kind of fun when it was the pros vs the college all stars - the college boys even won a time or two as I recall. The problem with the NFL is that those guys careers are all to short as it is - they dont want to risk a career ending injury in a meaningless game.

I went and it was an ok time with my son. We had pretty good seats and were in the section where they took your orders and brought everything to you. They gave us a lei and a seat cushion to keep. Most of this section were visitors getting these tickets as part of a package deal. I have lived here going on 4 years and was probably the only local guy there in section. Bring on baseball!

    Aloha

Oh the Pro Bowl happened? [IMG] [IMG]

As far as I am concerned, the NFL is done when the SuperBowl is done.
