Okay, you asked so I'll answer. It does seem to me there was an element of sarcasm in the establishment of this thread. It seems you were upset over what ChurchMouseGuy wrote in another thread and so you set up a thread to vindicate yourself from his allegation. From me, that's merely an observation. It seems like sarcasim to me. If you say it's not the case, then okay, I'll consider that to be the truth.

I have stated my purpose over and over. If members choose to consider me a liar, that of course is their option.

I have consistantly asked that this be a thread to praise President Bush, for all parites involved.

This thread is half way to its 10 page limit and many, many posts have wasted space attacking the motives of the topic starter instead of fulfilling it purpose. I have not atacked any poster or viewpoint, all the vitriol has been aimed in one direction. Every one of my posts have praise Mr Bush.

Please, please, use this thread to make positive posts about our president.

President Bush a true leader and motivator

I believe that if and when 99% of the people of this country are against the war in Iraq, George Bush will still stick to his guns because in his heart he believes it is the right thing to do.

The problem with people like LE, Ken anhd CMG is that they will never like anyone who is president because they will nor follow to every jot and tittle their personal esoteric agenda.

Please keep this thread on topic. It is not the place to attack other members.

President Bush hates terrorism of any ilk. His administration played a huge role in the decision of the IRA to disarm.

I voted for Bush twice. That's as pro-Bush as one can get. He'e the only presidential candidate for whom I have voted twice in a general election.

Bush is a president in the mold of Ronald Reagan.

I voted for Eisenhower twice, Nixon three times, Reagan twice and Bush twice. I guess that qualifies me as a yellow dog Republican. :D But what else can you expect one who is filthy rich [courtesy of Lady Eagle] to be. [IMG] [IMG]

I did vote for a very conservative democrat once, Senator Robertson of Virginia, but God forgave me when He saved me. [IMG]

C4K: "We will let the other posters judge who is being fair here."

Mirror, Mirror on the wall -
Who is fairest of the all?

I vote for C4K as the fairest of them all.

Of course, BB-wise' that is, the fairst president
we have is George W. Bush.

One of a few good things I can say about President Bush (will post more as I have time): He is not a heartless isolationist like Peroutka and Buchannan.

I, too, voted for President Bush. I even prayed over the election results and the chad business. I prayed for his protection on 09/11. I am a registered Republican.

President Bush restored the professional business attire demeanor to the Oval Office.

My reason for interjecting into this matter is to take up church mouse guy's position because I think it merits a better response than has been given. You may not like his points - I don't agree with all of them - but he needs to be heard. It troubles me a bit to have a moderator control the agenda of a debate in which they're a principal party.

I don't disagree with the point of the pros regarding President Bush, nor do I think you "hate" the President, nor do I think you're a "liar" or any such negative thing. However, I do suspect your true motive for starting this thread has more to do with vindicating yourself in the disagreement with church mouse guy than it does giving praise to the President.

Maybe, I'm wrong but, right now, I don't think so.

Regardless, the positive points about the President are welcome although it would be better if they were interjected, by you and others, into the many other threads where they fit the on going debates.

Please stay on topic. Thank you.

President Bush teaming the former President Bush and former President Clinton for Katrina victims, is a good thing.

Bush was actually a pretty good governor of Texas. A growing number of folks wish he was still the governor of Texas.

Of course, the majority of Americans wanted him to be president, both times. [IMG]
