    all religions except Fundamental Christianity.

    Did you read the link? It's interesting. And the statue.... it's a religious icon. The original poster was just asking had we seen it.

    Whose values? Certain not the values found in the Word of God. That's the big deal.

    So were the giant Buddhas destroyed by the fundamentalists in the Taliban. Other religions can have their icons. I still don't see the problem.

    Ah, then you didn't read the link.

    Granted, a statue, in and of itself, is no big deal.

    But this particular statue is the culmination of a project intended to encourage, if not form, a one-world religion and blended them all, included Christianity, into one "peaceful" institution. That is what is heavily implied by the link.
