Which of these items should be banned and on what basis would you call for banning them?

I frown upon Several of the named things in the poll. That being said, I do not feel that the Govermant has any business in our lives It is none of their businsess what I consume. no this does not include drugs. If we putlaw one thing we are setting a precedent to ban other things and to have big brother stick their nose even further into our lives.

I think she meant the things she consumes doesn't include drugs. But I think all those things should be banned in my house.

I'm afraid I'm back to not understanding. Which on the list should big brother be allowed to tell you what you can take or not take and which should they not be able to?

No, rufus.:tonofbricks: I don't appreciate big brother telling me I cannot drink a beer on occasion, consume coffee, trans fat, or should I say things that are in the food we eat.

Even if the government legalized marijuana, I do not believe the Christian can use it even in moderation.

We are to be faithful stewards in all we have. Our bodies do not belong to us, but to God (1 Corinthians 6:19.20), and smoking marijuana does not bring glory to that which God owns.

That being said, I believe alcohol should be banned by the government, as God's Word clearly tells us that it is forbidden... even in moderation (Proverbs 23:31)

You may as well remove morphine and any pain fighting drug, too.

Just because something or some activity is legal does not mean that it is wise to use it or participate in it.

Just because we don't like something is no reason to use government force to ban it.

We have fallen into a really, really bad habit in this country of wanting the government to subsidize the things we like and ban the things we don't like.

If standing for the Word of God and its truths is a bad habit, then so be it.
