ok... I'm polling some of the boards I go to about how I should do my hair [IMG] :lol prom is THIS SATURDAY! My Dress is Lavendar in a Greek Goddess Style(though I do not in anyway consider myself a goddess! :lol )

here's one I'm looking at... I will have more as I go looking for more :lol

BTW I have medium brown hair with a hint of red... it's straight as straight can be... and my face is oval shaped... if that means anything at all :lol

any suggestions or other websites would be great!

Then for straight hair, something like the bottom picture. It is very pretty.

I also have natually straight hair, which will not hold a curl. The bottom picture would work because it all is pin'd.

I think the first top one looks better, it's more elegant. But then that's from a guy who can't tell when any of his girl friends (two words, not one) get haircuts. [IMG]

Hmm, I think something like the first would actually look better if your hair won't curl, depending on the length. Oval faces can usually pull off just about anything, btw. [IMG]

Blush...isn't that how you wear your hair? [IMG]

UnashamedYouth...did you go to that web page I gave you. All the hair that had any kind of length was up, and some sort of braid in the back, wrapped around. For very straight hair, if you want a curled look...this would be the best.

I also have seen last 3 years around here, all the girls wear something almost like this style. Hair up for prom. More sophisticated look.

hehe Sherrie.... ;) no, that's not really how I wear my hair. Sometimes I pull it back behind my ear like that, but it's longer, and straighter.

How long is your hair Unashamed? I mean... if it's short, go for something like the first, and if it's long, the second.

Here's a picture of me at the last formal event I went to (my boyfriend's grad banquet). That hairstyle worked out well for me, since I like having my hair down but I know it looks more formal when you put it up... so I compromised. I pulled little sections back with bobby pins, then just looped strands around and pinned them wherever. It took about 45 minutes, 30 bobby pins, a whole handful of gel, some wax even, and about half a can of hairspray [IMG]

Ok then...that helps a lot. If your hair is a little shorter than blushes the styles I have been looking at probably wont work.

But check those last two places out that I posted...and see if there are not some shorter Styles that you can put up or back. I think the feathered/layered to the face is pretty too.

Hey that is a pretty dress.

But there is a rule on the board and your picture is too big. It can only be as big as the bbboard logo.

But you could put the address in URL and everyone could click on it and see it.

I love your dress. Did you have to do any altering on it? Is this going to be your first prom?

yes... my shoulders are "short" so we had to fix that part... and my butt was very air conditioned... so we had to sew it closer as it was very loose and kinda funky looking LOL

and yes this is my first and only prom... I'm a senior... and that's the reason I'm going... senior prom... and all alone [IMG] (ok so I have friends[all juniors  ] but they have dates... )
