    1. It is not necessary to quote the post directly above your response. There has been far too much of this going on lately. It makes it much harder to read the thread when you have to wade through all of the quotes.

    2. It is not necessary to quote a post in its entirety when you simply want to add an "Amen," or "I agree," etc...

    3. If you wish to respond to a post, simply quote the statement or paragraph that you wish to respond to instead of the entire post. If you use the quick respond feature, you can "drag and drop" any portion of the post into the reply area.

    4. DO NOT quote a post that needs to be edited. The Moderators then have to edit the original violating post and than all of the subsequent quotes of that post.

And please, you do NOT have to add a grocery list of verses printed out to try to make your argument look spiritual . . OR include such list in your quotation by said person.

    Discover the ellipesis (...)

    Genesis 1:1 - Revelation 24:20 (HCSB):

In the beginning God ... be with
    all the saints. Amen.

    Ed: "Discover the ellipesis (...)"

Amen, Ed. And don't forget adjusting the punctuation as well:

"Walk the lepers ... hear the dead" (Mt 11:5).

I'm wondering what Revelation 24 says in the Holman? My poor old KJV only goes through 22.

If my posts were like the
KJV1611 where the spelling got fixed
in 1769; You will get the right number
    in the year 2162 ;)
