    Proverbs 27:24 (KJV) For riches [are] not for ever: and doth the crown [endure] to every generation?

    Case in point is Cuba, once the richest country in Latin America, and not for gambling and prostitution as Hollywood claims but for music and tourism and rich agriculture. Las Vegas always had more gambling than Havana and still does, of course. Poor Italians and Spaniards moved to Cuba to escape the poverty of Europe.

    And then came the communists and the Castro brothers confiscated all the wealth of Cuba so that they own or control the whole island and no one knows how much money they have.

    Cuba went from being the richest Latin American country to the second poorest country in the world--second only to North Korea, another communist pit. The tourism in Cuba today is controlled by the communist military and the profits go to the military and their leaders. By law, an ordinary citizen cannot earn more than about twenty-five dollars a month without government approval.
