Do I agree with everything RW says in his book? no
Do I think he's apostate? no

He's doing something right... people flock to hear the Word and attend church. And if something doesn't change in the next few MINUTES about the way most of us do church, the Church in America will be dead in a generation.

Have we lost our influence as the Body of Christ? In large part, yes, because of petty bickering and arguing, the "our 4 and no more" attitude, and the fact that we won't change our methods (NOT THE MESSAGE ITSELF) to meet the needs of the people around us.

PS. What line has this "rapper" crossed? It was intended to be a joke. End of story. Whether you think it was funny or not is your business...

It has been a while since I have been on here. Somethings never change. Some people seem to be perefect and can call others names. I can disagree with someone without name calling.

There were at least four other posts in this thread that called out Windork for his comments and Windork appears to now be banned.

Hmmm, I won't see the video since I'm that sensitive, but I can easily assume it's satire. Sadly it seems at the way rap keeps getting more and more disgusting, I doubt Christ could ever use anyone with that talent to reach out to that generation which lives by it. Which is a shame since my City knows no other kind of music, but rap is never going to help lead a revival here.

You are saying there is something Christ cannot do? Then He is not sovereign...and not God.:BangHead:

Jesus won't do what he decides not to do...that doesn't mean that he can't do it. As far as I can tell God has determined that rap is an ineffective tool as far as ministery is concerned, or I'd've seen a radical change in my neighboorhood already!

Check out this Chrisitan rapper. He has certainly used his talent to spread the gospel and reach out to people. Here is the link to his myspace page:

I especially like the song smile featuring JR, and I don't even particularily like rap. Listen to it if you get a chance. It is very uplifting.
