Brother, I assume your post was directed at me. I believe in the absolute omniscience of God, even that he knows not just actual outcomes but also every infinite possible outcome. I don't think Calvinists would hold to such an omniscient God since I think they suppose that God only knows was actually occurs instead of what could occur even though it won't occur, but I could be wrong. Where have I ever suggested that God doesn't know every free action of an individual or has to "learn?" I know I've never posted that because I don't believe that, but prove me wrong so I can openly recant!

As a non-Cal I would say the nature of God's control over every detail is difficult. Will we say that tsunamis that wipe out hundreds of thousands of people are simply the effects of man's sin upon...

And had Nineveh continued in following God he wouldn't have destroyed them. Their disobedient actions determined God's judgment against them. Pure reading of the word, folks.

I believe Calvinism is derived from the Gospel and presents the Gospel, but within a theological understanding.

We’ll never agree on this, but that’s fine. I’ve learned from 23 years of marriage that people do not always agree and sometimes you just have to decide if you want to be happy or you want to be right.

We’ll just disagree and leave it at that because neither of us are going to change ours or the others mind.

Remember that the mor moderate viwers of this would say that calvinism does the best job/model of explaining HOW God worked to save us, but that it is NOT the Gospel, but an explanation of it!

Just as arminian and non cals theologoes are!
