I know it is easy to point fingers and blame the President for all that is wrong with our country.

Let me ask this, and FTR this is not sarcasm or being ugly I really want to know.

Don't the democrats hold majority seats in both the Senate and Congress?

Because it seems to me the President Bush has not been the ONLY elected official in Washington. AND since he has not been the only one there, are not the dems partly responsible for the condition of our country?

The President can not do much on his own he needs the other houses of government to go with him to make things happen, right? So why is this JUST the presidents fault?

    Just wondering?

None of it is just the presidents fault. Dems want to make it look like all the problems are the fault of republicans, especially the president,(they think it will help them elect a dem president) but they share the blame too. Hopefully the american people will be smart enogh to see it.

    and I mean everything bad...

that happens is Bush's fault. He even caused Katrina. No word on Ike yet, but I'm expecting to hear it any day now.

Actually the democrats are just as much at fault as the republicans for the poor condition the country is in, but not only that we that's you, me and everyone else that claims citizenship in these United States are just as culpable as either party for the sad shape our country and republican form of government is in because we have failed to hold "our team" accountable for it's abuse of power.

Playing favorites has gotten us where we are today. That and our addiction to big corporatist government.
