There is a difference between questioning a person's salvation out of love and genuine concern and accusing one of being lost because of argumentativeness or out of spite.

This, I'm sure, is posted in jest to make a point. If it is deemed inbounds to make accusations like this as a matter of course in debate, we'll see this kind of thing repeated more often in anger.

Of course it never occurs to the two that they may both be right, or that they both may be wrong.

This may be the one that applies:
Under Baptist Theology and Bible Study, look for Skandelon's first "sticky" regarding personal attacks.

It doesn't specifically speak to questioning one's salvation, but could be interpreted broadly enough to equate that to a personal attack

Perhaps...this rule does not actually exist, but has been used as a defense so often that we all assume it exist, and in fact "remember" reading it somewhere, when really none of us did?

What if it's a big conspiracy!!!???

Could it be that some here assume IF questioning validity of the held belifs, that is attacking salvation?

Sadly, the filthy name-calling now is going on in dozens of private messages. Such hate is unfathomable to me as a Christian. And ought not to be named among us.

More administrative action will be taken. And closing this thread now.
