RD2 Could use your prayers!

    I came extremely close to dying the other night. We went out to dinner, and while in the bathroom I had an extremely sharp pain that resulted in a vasovagal syncope (that's where something emotionally or physically triggers the body t send a lot of blood to that area of pain). By the time the EMTs arrived, my BP was 58, and I was in serious trouble. The doctors claim the entire situation was set off by the stomach flu, and my being severely dehydrated.

    I did recover, but the other problem coming as a result of the diarrhea is bloody loose stools. My doctor has suggested I wait and see if I have any more, and if I do, to go directly to the hospital.

    So as you can see, I covet your prayers.

    Thanks for being family and being there in prayer!

    BP seems to be holding, but the blood in stools has not ceased so I will be going to ER, for further eval and testing. Thank you all for prayers. I need them.

    Pray for our brother, the RighteousDude today, he will be going through vigorous testing of many types today.

    • Pray that the one that made the RighteousDude righteous might uphold him both physically and spiritually in his battle this week.
    • Pray that RD2 feels God's presence with him even in his weakness.
    • Pray that RD2 might be a witness to those he meets.
    • Pray that God might prolong his years.
    • Pray for his family and loved ones that they may have peace knowing RD2 is safe in God's hands.
    • Pray that the bleeding is easily controlled and not a serious condition.

    Thanks brother. I needed to read those words. They gave me strength. Truly God works through prayers. I have a peace within, as I should, and I will let you all know when I know how God came through. Shalom!
