    How could this character EVER get elected - oops - never mind - rhetorical question!!:sleep::laugh:

    Ried's rating has been aroudn that level for years. I found it amusing that he would make statements about GW Bush's 35% approval ratings, while his own were well below that.

    It underscores a disappointing trend in our country: the idea of "all the bums need to be thrown out...except for MY congressman."

    Maybe, just maybe, this is the year we overcome that obstacle.

    Oh, and one other thing: especially in democratic strongholds, you have places that will vote for the democratic nominee, no matter what they've done. (Look no further than the District of Columbia...the residents put a crackhead in charge)

    Thus, all Reid (and other democrats) must do is survive the primary.

    We saw in the '08 elections...that's not true for Republicans. Many got booted, even in very strong Republican districts.

    That gives democrats...even selfish, socialist, mean bullies like Reid...a leg up.

    It took me 40 years to realize that I was a part of the problem by constantly voting for someone just because they have an "R" next to their name.

    I now realize that the Republicans and the Democrats are just two sides of the same corrupt and incompetent coin.
