Your post stood out to me as the one reflecting the greatest victory for the far left liberals that took over the democrat party.

Often when a christian is accused of disregarding the poor it means that they do not subscribe to communism. In other words if its not the way they do it then they are demonized. But rarely can it actually be proven that the poor is disregarded.

The issue with big business is again typically a communist bent. The war card again a socialist/communist bent that hates anuything that detracts from their robinhood syndrome.

    You're welcome.

Always happy to point out the hypocricy of liberal Christians who, when voting, only follow Biblical principles when it matches their political agenda.

Conservatives don't forget the old or the poor. We give as individuals to charities, Church, etc. I don't see anything moral about stealing from someone to give to someone else.

I"m sorry I didn't know I had to define what a Christian was. The bible says it is one who is Born Again of the spirit, through faith in Jesus Christ not of works. Not someone who was raised in a Christian home or even one who goes to church all the time.

I do understand that most in the South "think" they are Christians because of these things hence the word bible belt.

I would think a born again Christian would vote for someone who had the same values as God does.

Because they want to continue to be marginalized, have no effect whatsoever, use worldly power to advance their own position, are uninformed about the way the country runs, and prefer to submit to leaders who do absolutely nothing to support their side of the single issue cause once they get their vote and get in office. And they seem to be infected with an arrogant, unchristlike tendency to judge others by their own human standard.

And because they choose to ignore what the Bible has to say about these things.

Perhaps it is time for far left liberalism to be the guiding philosophy of our government, considering how poorly things have turned out under extremist right wing conservativism.

the problem is getting bigger everyday...many are children.
come on now, you have to know this is happening.
Christ was very clear on how we are to treat the poor.

I do not doubt we have needy people, yes, even in the great USA. I also believe, as you do, that we need to make sure they are fed, clothed, sheltered, and even given proper medical care. What I question is the supposed lack of people willing to help.

We will never eradicate poverty. Jesus said "... the poor always ye have with you..."

But, praise be to God, we have an abundance of people in this country who are willing to give.

there will always be poverty, but that does not give us the right to cease in aiding people in need.
The problem is that while there are people willing to give, there are still more in need than those willing to lend a hand.
