Are you admitting that Democrats are known for promoting abortion?

Why else would you be asking?

My preacher told me that he is" called to preach the gospel " . I don' t even know how he votes. He won't even display a U.S. flag in our sanctuary, he says "this is God's house " ,the flag flies at his own home Mon-Sat., Sunday is the day of the Lord. And yeah, we are a baptist church.

    Good for your preacher...

Part of the gospel is preaching against sin... does he preach against murder?

What about people who say murder should be accepted if one person wants to murder another?
I doubt you would even say that...

But that is what you do when you vote for pro choice candidates, you are speaking with your vote that a woman can kill her baby...
    That makes you an accomplice..

Naw, the only people that "promote" it are the abortion docters. "Pro-choice" folks that I know, don't think outlawing it will stop it. Look at the "drug war". Do you support throwing a woman in jail for having an abortion ?

Yes, it is murder.. the same way I think she should be in jail for killing her baby after it is born... murder is murder..

the only differnce is in timing.. If a woman killed a 3 week old baby, she messed up the timing.. a couple months earlier it would have been legal.

I feel the women should be in jail for having an abortion.
The doctors should too.. as well as all pro-choice politicians...

Actually, she should be put to death! life for a life..

Are there any sins other than abortion? Do you preach against them too. Do you exclude people from your church who commit other sins? How do you find sinless people to be in your congregation?

I put the murder of innocent unborn children in the same class as homosexuality and democrats like both.

Did I say we excluded them? Yes I will preach against sin... but at the same time preach forgiveness and mercy for all who repent of their sins.

IF people don't want to repent, then they are excluding themselves from Christ.

I am talking about the lost here...

If a sinner wants to hang on to sin, and not repent of it, then the Holy Spirit will work with them.

I am convinced, increasingly convinced that people who are the loudest in proclaiming that sin is not sin is actually under conviction from the Holy Spirit. And the way they fight the Holy Spirit is by getting loud.

Godly preaching will move people.. either closer to God or out the door.

I have seen it both ways..

I have preached agains adultery, and adulterers have not came back to church.
I have preached against drunkenness, and drunks didn't come back.
I have preached against prejudice and people have walked out and never came back...

    But

I have preached against adultery, and some have repented, and became mighty in the kingdom through their service
I have preached against drunkenness, and the person gave up alcohol and is now a leader in church
I have preached against prejudice and some have now loved hispanics.

I am preaching against abortion this Sunday.. our sunday school lesson in Lifeway is against abortion this Sunday...

If someone wants to thumb their nose at the word of God and ignore what I preach and the teachers teach.. that is between them and God.
If someone comes closer to God, then praise God.

150 yrs ago, the smell of death in this country was from slave ships...
65-70 yrs ago the smell of death was from the gas chambers in Germany...
Today the smell of death comes from abortion clinics...

If you say you are against abortion, then what are you going to do to stop it. If you voted for prochoice candidates, you shot yourself in the foot.

To say you are against abortion, but vote prochoice you are double minded... and what does James say about that?

Maybe you missed my questions, Justchristian, can you answer them?

Would you vote for someone who says rape is OK?
Would you vote for someone who says racism is OK?
Then why would you vote for someone that says murder is OK?

Is Murder not as bad as rape or racism?

I wouldn't vote for anyone that espoused any of the three I don't care if they agreed with me on everyother issue.

Then why do abortionists and homosexuals flock to the democrat party, while avoiding the republican party...

It is not a broad brush.. it is truth.

Ridculous questions. No and no. And I have never heard a candidate say that murder is okay either. And of course, murder is as bad.

I just don't believe that life begins at conception. We have already covered this ad infinitum. I will not grant a clump of cellular matter the same rights as a late term fetus or a post birth human.

Platforms are rarely followed. The GOP has not done squat, even when they controlled the legislative and executive branches.

Thank you for answering.. at least we see where the root of our disagreement begins..

I firmly believe that life begins at conception.. as the Bible teaches.. .(God called john a "babe" in Elizabeth's belly.. and if you look up the Greek word for Babe.. it is used as a living child)

    Luke 1:41
    (41) And G2532 it came to pass, G1096 that, when G5613 Elisabeth G1665 heard G191 the G3588 salutation G783 of Mary, G3137 the G3588 babe G1025 leaped G4640 in G1722 her G846 womb; G2836 and G2532 Elisabeth G1665 was filled G4130 with the Holy G40 Ghost: G4151

    G1025
    βρέφος
    brephos
    bref'-os
Of uncertain affinity; an infant (properly unborn) literally or figuratively: - babe, (young) child, infant.

    Brephos is used elsewhere....
    (Luke 1:41) And G2532 it came to pass, G1096 that, when G5613 Elisabeth G1665 heard G191 the G3588 salutation G783 of Mary, G3137 the G3588 babe G1025 leaped G4640 in G1722 her G846 womb; G2836 and G2532 Elisabeth G1665 was filled G4130 with the Holy G40 Ghost: G4151

    (Luke 1:44) For, G1063 lo, G2400 as soon as G5613 the G3588 voice G5456 of thy G4675 salutation G783 sounded G1096 in G1519 mine G3450 ears, G3775 the G3588 babe G1025 leaped G4640 in G1722 my G3450 womb G2836 for G1722 joy. G20

(Luke 2:12) And G2532 this G5124 shall be a sign G4592 unto you; G5213 Ye shall find G2147 the babe G1025 wrapped in swaddling clothes, G4683 lying G2749 in G1722 a manger. G5336

    (Luke 2:16) And G2532 they came G2064 with haste, G4692 and G2532 found G429(G5037) Mary, G3137 and G2532 Joseph, G2501 and G2532 the G3588 babe G1025 lying G2749 in G1722 a manger. G5336

(Luke 18:15) And G1161 they brought G4374 unto him G846 also G2532 infants, G1025 that G2443 he would touch G680 them: G846 but G1161 when his disciples G3101 saw G1492 it, they rebuked G2008 them. G846

(Acts 7:19) The same G3778 dealt subtilly with G2686 our G2257 kindred, G1085 and evil entreated G2559 our G2257 fathers, G3962 so that they cast out G4160 G1570 their G846 young children, G1025 to the end they might not G3361 live. G2225

    (2 Timothy 3:15) And G2532 that G3754 from G575 a child G1025 thou hast known G1492 the G3588 holy G2413 scriptures, G1121 which are able G1410 to make thee wise G4679 G4571 unto G1519 salvation G4991 through G1223 faith G4102 which G3588 is in G1722 Christ G5547 Jesus. G2424

    (1 Peter 2:2) As G5613 newborn G738 babes, G1025 desire G1971 the G3588 sincere G97 milk G1051 of the word, G3050 that G2443 ye may grow G837 thereby: G1722 G846

So if John was not alive in Elizabeth's belly, but was as you put it..."a clump of cellular matter" and God calls him a "brephos", then what would you call Jesus in Luke 2:12 when God calls him a 'brephos" ... You don't have the guts to call Jesus a "Clump of cellular matter"

Science also defines life with the following characteristics...

1.Homeostasis: Regulation of the internal Temp.
2.Organization: made up of one or more cells, which are the basic units of life.
3.Metabolism: Consumption of energy by converting chemicals and energy into cellular components
    4.Growth:
5.Adaptation: The ability to change over a period of time in response to the environment.
    6. Response to stimuli:
    7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.

And a fetus has all these qualities, not to mention seperate DNA from it's mother... (or would you call the mother a "host")

I find your view very wrong... and willingly ignorant to both orthodox Christianity and Science.
