hey guys, im not a youth, but im a youth minister, which means im prolly the least mature of all!

    My question is this:

Are you encouraged to seek out your own beliefs, within christianity, even if they disagree with your parents?

    Examples are:
Predestination, Bible translation, View of Revelations, Dispensationalism, things of the like.

The above are examples of doctrines and beliefs that are not specifically spelled out in scripture, and have differing interpretations, all within biblical christians.

So, are you encouraged to seek out your own faith, or encouraged to accept your parents/pastors/youth ministers beliefs even if you dont agree?

I am eager to see what you guys have to say!
