    What does it mean to show respect to God? What things are respectful? What does God expect us to do to show respect, from scripture please.
    I see people talking about what they wear in respect of God to church, but what baout a people who live in an area where they haev never seen a tie and suit? They don't have a Sunday best outfit, they may own one or two changes of clothing an thats it.

    "What does it mean to show respect to God?"

    Well, I would say it's to approach Him with deep reverence and humility. As for how that translates into personal appearance and behavior, you'll get many different opinions on that. My belief is that an emphasis on the external is more for other people's benefit. The Lord is not concerned about how you look, as long are your heart is right. But that's just my opinion.
