Could it be possible that Obama (if the Dem nominee) would pick Jeremiah Wright to be his running mate, despite all the uproar going on recently???

It was a "joke" alluded to by the Rev. Wright himself a couple of weeks ago.

    Thoughts??

He'd pick my dog before he'd pick Wright.

What makes you so sure? It might be a good question people need to think about. Especially those who are voting reverse discrimination en bloc.

No one thinks Obama will choose someone like Wright. That is, no one seriously thinks this.

Agreed. But it could happen. Like Gomer Pyle says..."surprise, surprise, surprise."

Per Dr Wright's speech (it was a "joke") http://www.chicagotribune.com

That would be the end of his run for office.

I hope he does pick Wright. It would guarantee a Mccain victory. He wont of course. it would be the stupidest political move in history. He wont pick Clinton either. I think he will choose the governor of Ohio:

"Support is growing in Democratic ranks for Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland as vice president. He would bring to the ticket maturity (66 years old), experience (six terms in Congress) and moderation (rated "A" by the National Rifle Association). He is very popular in Ohio, a state Republicans must carry to elect a president."

I'd vote for my dog over Rev. Wright. I also don't think there's a chance he'll pick Hillary. I think he'll pick a well regarded middle of the political spectrum candidate to strengthen the ticket just as most (not GW) nominees have done.

Stupid maybe but it would have an assuring effect. No one would ever assassinate Obama if Wright were the VP.

Senator Obama is a smart man, and he has:

    1. Disavowed Wright
    2. It would be political suicide

He would probably pick his cousin, Dick Cheney first!

Obama would pick Hannah Montana before he'd pick Wright or Clinton. I think MP's dog would make a good Veep  Can't imagine the dog would tell a reporter "So....?"

Well, wouldn't that be an interesting ticket!

And since someone mentioned Hillary, I just can't see her stomaching the VP slot or The Former Mr. Prez stomaching being Mr. VP . . .

Obama chances of being assasinated would be better if Hillary was VP.

Yep. And just imagine..."Four More Years" would be "Twenty-Eight More Dog Years!" A chicken in every pot and a Milk Bone in every dish!

I have 9 votes in my household for your dog as VP, MP. And my wife and I would vote for your dog as VP as well. So 11 votes in total. It's a bandwagon! :)
