So God has nothing to do with the creation of a new life?

Man can create a new life against God's will?

    Keep talking Zaac...

Does man create life, or does God ?

God terminates many more conceptions than rapists start.

"“I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize life is that gift from God,” Mourdock said at a debate. “And I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Then a miscarriage is also a gift from God. Or can both be a curse from God, depending?

Isn't it amazing how powerful words are. I would bet Murdock meant the pregnancy was God's doing and not the rape but his words didn't reflect that on the surface. Hmmmmm kinda of what we have heard from Mr. Obama on Benghazi over the past two weeks. Also how the media has taken the 47% and turned it into what wasn't intended by Mr. Romney.

I just wish everyone voting on 6 Nov knows how to distinguish the difference. I would bet 47% don't have a clue...

 Glad I wasn't sipping my coffee when reading Zaac's comments . Mock's Rev then applauds Ann who said the same thing.

    Either way, they're His acts.

    What's your point?

    seems to be saying....hmmmmm

You do see how millions of people who know nothing about the Lord or His sovereignty could hear his statement and say that he "seems to be" speaking literally and lose their tempers?

People need to be careful how they say things.

You are being very reasonable about this. To me this has nothing to do with pro life. Both candidates are pro life. I look at it this way. Between this guy and the one in Missouri using no common sense before the press, two Senate seats are in jeopardy. Since the balance is so close, these two stupid remarks might hand the Senate to the Democrats, and viola, more ammunition for the abortion cause. What a couple of clods.

I agree with you on that, but let's not accuse this guy of something false either. His choice of words are bad but his intention is not what liberals want it to be.

Ken’s Story: I Was Conceived in Rape, Don’t Kill Me in Abortion

A man named Ken recently called in to a Washington, DC radio talk show discussing the question of abortion after rape. In the midst of a politically charged discussion, his personal story caught the host off guard. Ken explained that he was adopted as an infant, and at age 30, located his birth mother and learned the circumstances of his conception.

“Her story was that she was hit over the head with a baseball bat and was raped at 15. So she went away to Catholic Charities, had me, made the brave decision to keep me — and, well, keep me alive. And then I was adopted and I have three beautiful children now, have been married for 15 years – and I would just like to speak up for those [voice breaks] who have no voice.”

Ken defended both women who are the victims of rape, and their innocent children who are conceived in violence:

“It really eats me up when I hear people talk about rape, because it is horrible. My mother won’t tell me who my father’s name is because he threatened to kill her if she ever said anything. So she has not told me his name, but if I was ever to meet him, the first thing I would probably do is punch him. I think rape is horrible, but what I want to say to women out there is: you can take something that was terribly done to you, and make something good out of it. And that’s, [voice breaks] that’s me.”

This was my opening statement. No scoffing of anyone. No name calling. Just amazement that a candidate would have made the statement he did.

    Why?

Because he should have known it would start a firestorm and hurt both himself and other Republican candidates. He is running in a general election. Saying he was pro-life was all he should have said. He wants the votes of Christians but also of others. He cannot win without votes from non-Christians. That is why I was amazed.

Not only that, but he should have known that not only would it hurt his campaign, but it would remind women of the Republican war on women ... real or imagined it would bring that subject back to the attention of women. And that not only hurts his chance of election, but it opens the topic for every Republican candidate, including Romney, to questions on their stance on this topic.

He has hurt the chances of all Republicans.

It was his ignorance of what such a statement might do to his and other Republican campaigns that amazed me.

What Saturneptune said. Republicans seem to make a habit of alienating potential women voters in this campaign.
