I agree. Here in the States we argue and we have the luxury of bickering with those of like precious faith. What is that one faith: Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In countries where persecution is common, the Christians are too busy sharing their common struggle to bicker over whom they should fellowship or not fellowship or look for what is wrong with every other Christian.

We do not serve a body of doctrines. We serve a living Savior and Lord. It is important to obey and follow the truth and to be sure we are right, but the Bible says the important thing is to serve a living Savior and Lord and put that first.

I know someone who is Orthodox and grew up Orthodox in Communist Bulgaria. The Communists highlighted their church history as history -- so if you lived those churches, you could count on trouble. If caught at an assembly of Christians, you might meet with someone who is an official. That official would remind you that where your family works for a living -- or no longer works for no income -- depends on what the Communist government decides, or you may be reminded that sometimes people just seem to disappear.

Is anyone watching what the ACLU is trying to do to us? Do you think it is without purpose? However, we are shunning each other because of worship styles and other things that do not matter any other time than the few hours a week we meet during the week.

I hope it isn't a trap. When Billy Graham visited the Soviet Union some years ago, the Soviets filmed the crowds so they could be persecuted later on. North Korea is one of the most oppressive regimes in the world, where Christians are severely persecuted.

I think Rick should ask for passports out of the country for all of them. Before he speaks. Then tell the world the response. Then share John 3:16-17, John 14:6, and Romans 10:8-13. I hope there are sufficient hidden cameras to export the aftermath to the entire world.

I have a couple I would wear to the Church until my 12 year old daughter let me know they were laughing at me and not with me. Little buggers!

I guess the same could be said about Rick Warren himself:

I guess this is the way Rick stands behind his brothers in Christ...by dreaming about their deaths. Or perhaps, you assume too much about Rick.
