Romans 1:14 "debtor". Discuss.

    [Rom 1:14] I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. KJV

    This morning I listened to a sermon on this verse while taking a walk and now I'm sorting my thoughts out on the subject. See, grace can never be repaid---and we shouldn't even try, but we work for Christ because of our faith---and we will forever be in His debt.

    What are your thoughts on it?

    Look at the next text: "So as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also." I think that explains it.
