First sentence referring to Gov Perry.

You must keep one thing in mind. Those "rules" only apply to Republicans. Dems are given a free pass.

Rolf, Perry will have to campaign all out in each of the 57 states.

Youse guys :)smilewinkgrin:) brought Christie upon yourselves. :tonofbricks:

I doubt that Walker will run...this time. Reasons: 1. He is only a one-term governor. I could be wrong, but I think that he would prefer another term to both solidify the state of the State and his reputation. 2. He is not as widely known as some of the other Republicans who are interested and knows that. 3. The failed recall was hard on his family. Unionista threats against them, that type of thing. His Wife and sons seem more important to him than public office. I could be wrong, but I would not be surprised if he waited until his kids are a little older.

I would not be surprised if he waits a cycle or two.

There is no one that I know of that would be a good GOP candidate. It's going to have to be someone from out of nowhere, kind of like Jimmy Carter and Obama were for the Dems.

That said, I like Scott Walker, he's a survivor of numerous attacks on him and he keeps winning. He may be lacking in the personality and charisma department and I doubt he wants to run.

I suppose Paul Ryan would be OK.

    Thanks!

Didn't know that ... thanks for enlightening me. How about Sarah Palin - round 2, too?

Nothing against her personally --but it is a completely an unworkable idea. And she knows it too.

    Maybe ....

You're right ... but I think it is the time and place to have a woman VP, and it would do a lot for the GOP to not only put a good candidate in office who can right the wrong that's been done, but do it with the first female VPOTUS at his side!

Do you believe Romney could turn things around like he did in Salt Lake with the Olympics? That is realy the question!

Yes....just as the nation (war weary of BUSH/CHEANY) hoisted BO upon us....wrongly thinking he and his ilk would bring about change. And that's what we got. A leftist move towards Marxism. Christy promised change too...but all we got was an extortionist.....created to grab as much as they could plunder. Both administrations perpetuated hoaxes.
Well you have to consede that Walker did effect positive change for the taxpayers of the state of Wisconsin ....and that type of action takes a toll. I don't know the guys age....so perhaps he should take a back seat.

Which is why the Public Sector Unions were all-in on the recall effort.

She's a doll but she may have retired from running for offices. Alaska is expensive so she and her husband must spend a lot of time working for a living.

Florida is expensive, also, but it probably is nicer than California.

Perhaps one of the primary reasons for Christians to vote for a man who rejects Jesus Christ is because they love money and saving the "country" more than they love seeing souls saved.

He does seem to be saying and doing the "right" things. He just needs to practice speaking.

Romney has said repeatedly that he isn't running for anything in 2016 so folks can stop trying to recruit him. Keep the devil's evil of Mormonism out of a position of achieving notoriety.

????? So the corollary to that is "vote for Barack Hussein Obama if you love seeing souls saved?" I'm confused. Please unpack your above statement.

The corollary is to "vote for BHO" only if you believe you have to vote for either evil.

The only reason to vote for either is because politics once again trumps Jesus. It's as though some folks are afraid to trust Jesus and allow Him to fix things. Nope we have to do it ourselves no matter how hypocritical it makes the church look.

God has never intended for a President to be the answer. He is the answer.

Did I miss something? Do we not ive in a democracy, and in a democracy people vote for who shall lead them.

I have never voted for the leader believing they can be the end all to all our problems, but rather to beieve that our leaders be surrounded by our prayers in order to be responsive to God.

However, there are times in a democracy when leaders are not what they presented themselves to be, and it is time for the church to step in prayerfully, to affect changes.

Hate to tell you brother, but most believers believe this very thing!

You obviously missed something. No one said you couldn't vote for who you wanted to lead you. But spiritually speaking, it's the ultimate display of liberalism for a Christian to vote for a man who rejects Jesus Christ.

Okay. Still, it's the ultimate display of liberalism for a Christian to vote for a man who rejects Jesus Christ.

The church wasn't prayerfully trying to change anything by voting for a man who rejects Jesus Christ. What god was the church praying to that told them THAT was a good idea?

If most Believers believed that, they wouldn't have overwhelmingly voted for a man who rejects Jesus Christ. If Billy Graham's organization believed that they wouldn't have removed Mormonism from the list of cults.

True liberals situationally adjust their "convictions".

Ahh don't get mad and want me to not talk about how the true liberals are those of ya whose behavior is so far off of Christ's.

Yall started the thread. I'm just pointing out what is REALLY liberal.
